How we are tackling our challenges
Brand implementation project in Switzerland
Based on the results of the brand survey for WM CH conducted in Q1/Q2 2024, we think we need a local implementation of the overall brand in Switzerland.
Our main objectives are: We are searching for an agency to help us creating an implementation concept of the Rothschild & Co brand in the Swiss wealth management market and to develop our unique value proposition and positioning. The concept should be built upon the existing Rothschild & Co brand and guidelines but localized for Switzerland and our specific offering. The project will include and require the input from the ExC and will be discussed in more detail in December.
The new concept includes:
- How R&Co should “looks and feel” in Switzerland and how this should be communicated
- Our value proposition description (what is R&Co in Switzerland and why)
- Positioning formulation, targeted to our client segments/personas (families & family offices, UHNW individuals, entrepreneurs) and clearly indicating a competitive differentiation
- A cohesive visual identity
Areas to cover are:
- Website landing page and offering pages
- Social media (Linkedin)
- Client pitching deck
- Offering brochures
Event process made easier
Critical need to enhance the events process including event guest list management. The process is recognisably difficult and very manual for both sides, requiring constant updates and prone to human error.
Front Office and Corporate Affairs are aligned to make this transition to a lean, end-to-end process facilitated by an improved guest list management through AURA and an external event management tool for event creation, coordination and invitation dispatch.
We're only considering Swiss event management softwares who offer private cloud or on-premise.

Understanding our clients' needs
To improve our understanding of our clients' needs and their overview of our offering and brand, we have kicked-off the first client survey and have engaged PwC to help us. We aim to establish a foundation for tracking their satisfaction with our services and propositions that will ultimately drive our client service efforts forward.
Our main objectives are:
- Enhance client relationships: By gathering feedback on our offering, services, and customer experience, we can identify areas for improvement and take action to better meet clients' needs, increasing overall satisfaction.
- Strengthen client relationships: Surveys provide an opportunity for clients to voice their opinions, showing that we value their input. This fosters trust and deepens relationships, which is critical in private banking where our personal relationships are key.
- Identify market trends and preferences: Understanding our clients’ evolving financial needs and preferences can help us tailor our offering and services, ensuring that we stay competitive, relevant and visible in the Swiss marketplace.
- Risk Management and retention: Surveys can uncover early signs of dissatisfaction or potential exits. Addressing these issues proactively can help us retain our clients and manage reputational risk.
- Consistent benchmarking: Establish a baseline by measuring key performance indicators (KPIs). This will also enable future benchmarking against our competitors and the industry standard, particularly in the maintenance and monitoring of our net promoter scores.
