Key take-aways:

  • High quality media placement with various topics: financial results including top-placed interviews with Laurent Gagnebin, expert opinion articles on investment topics (featuring Benjamin Meier and David Windisch), and interview with Carlos Mejía.
  • Placement of different R&Co spokespeople in a variety of Swiss media players, e.g. AllNews, Finews, The Market, Handelszeitung.
  • Qualitatively very good, but quantitatively less in comparison to Q1 2024 possibly due to the following reasons: (1) We had quite a lot of media presence at the time due to rumours of EdR and R&Co planning a merger, (2) more placement with investment commentary) and (3) missed opportunities so far in 2025. Last quarter we also had a strong presence due to the launch of the Dubai office and the appointment of the new CFO.
  • Overall better coverage in the German-speaking region. Nevertheless, well-balanced and successful coverage in French-speaking Switzerland.
  • Online coverage remains high and of a very good quality. We are particularly succesful on relevant online portals with a very broad readership (including Handelszeitung and Finews etc.).
  • The inclusion of expert quotes from in key financial publications effectively reinforces our expertise and credibility. It is crucial to seize opportunities where market commentaries and expert statements from Rothschild & Co are in demand. Moving forward, we should become again more active and agile in responding swiftly to media requests to further enhance visibility and influence -and lastly our brand awareness.
